On this page you can send me questions, and I’ll answer them from my point of view. You can also just talk back and forth, though for brevity long dialogs will likely be made into blogs, especially inspirational ones. It’s pretty simple. I can think of lots of things to talk about in my blogs, but sometimes I don’t address things that other people would care about… Give it a try!
Questions should be in sentence or paragraph form, and try to keep the questions as simple as possible. I understand somethings can be said in one paragraph, or in one sentence. Short answers will be posted underneath the questions, and very long answers may become blogs instead. I don’t know if there is any interest in this, but I realize I can’t possibly touch base with all subjects in my blogs. Thank you…

This line of commentary between myself and Mx. Punk has been moved to a full blog. To read conversations of gender click the link as follows https://renetaxian.wordpress.com/2011/11/09/ask-reneta/ Pictures with commentary, and added stuffs included, and made sticky for WordPress stickiness.
I’ve got questions about myself, trying to understand if I’m an androgyne or not. Would you mind contacting me via email? See my email address to understand why I’d prefer to hold the coversation over email.
What are your prefered pronouns? I can’t seem to find them.
Feminine pronouns or gender neutral pronouns, they are both equally applicable and acceptable. Neither of them are triggering, and since I am feminine androgynous they both work very well. Hope that suffices your question. Well, more or less gender-fluid androgynous, but yeah.
Hi, I am a documentary film maker in the UK doing some research on intersex people. I would like to know if you are an intersex person? I notice in your photos you’ve had hormone treatment. Have also had any surgical treatment? Thank you.
No, I’m transgender and I have no evidence that I’m intersexed other than some loose details from my birth records and other things that I’ve never been able to iron out. The kind of stuff that could be clerical errors. I did have hormonal issues before transitioning, but beyond that I can’t afford to delve into the whys. So I don’t think I’m the person you’re looking for in this case. I am versed in gender politics though, but beyond that, I don’t know what I’d be able to provide to help you.
ALso, to add, if you needed someone to do some consultation I can help you and I also have some connections I could poke as well. A lot of the challenges trans people face overlap with intersexed issues, but they aren’t necessarily one and the same. But I feel I’m more than reasonably knowledgeable about some subjects if you needed information. In either case, I wish you luck and good fortune with your documentary.
Thank you for your reply Reneta. Much appreciated. I’m still researching and have no budget for a documentary yet. Hoping to pitch it soon. I’ll keep your comments in mind. In the meantime you take care and stay well. All best.
Hi,
My name is Sfora, I have been on hormones for 9 months, going on 10 here soon. I always knew I never wanted to be a full male, nor a full female. I want to keep my male private area the way it is without undergoing SRS. My question is what is the correct term for this? I hate to refer to using Shemale, or what Japan calls the New Half term, because it is kind of offensive in a way, especially the word shemale.
Thanks,
Sfora
Trans Woman, Transsexual Woman, always separated, and not hyphenated. Could also say trans girl, transgender girl, transgender woman, et cetera. To make them one word is considered othering. As well, transgender is not to be used in plural transgenders, though for transsexual I hear a lot of people use that as plurals. But honestly, you can use whatever you want to call it as far as your gender. It’s yours, afterall. You can say, I’m a woman with a transgender history. Anyways, the main emphasis is on not dehumanizing, othering, reducing or belittling yourself. To realize that your womanhood is as valid as anyone. And also, it’s your body so no one really has the right to tell you want you can do with it. Also, most trans women find tranny or shemale dehumanizing, or at least feel it stings a little bit. Also, I wish you luck on your journey.
